Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia, was passionate about climbing, since he was young. Hence it arose the interest and the desire to build a personal equipment. Chouinard’s equipment in time was successful at the point that he had to start to produce it at industrial level.

The North Face
The North Face brand was established in 1968 by Douglas Tompkins and Kenneth Klopp in San Francisco. The two renamed a San Francisco climbing equipment retail store they'd founded two years earlier.
Weekend Offender
Set up in a small Welsh town outside Cardiff as a side project in 2004, WEEKEND OFFENDER was the brainchild of Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell, and just under ten years later the pair continue to expand the brand from the label’s new flagship store in London’s Soho.
